Reading books...

Posted by MoeAnguish - 2 hours ago

Just finished another one called "Atomic Habits". Good book, would recommend for anyone who thinks getting started on things is difficult.

But now i need something else. I'm either going to read the Bible or something else that's also religious, but i also thought I'd ask for recommendations. So what do you guys have for me?

Some (fantasy) novels with lighter topics that I could recommend would be 'The Truth' or 'Going Postal' by Terry Pratchett.

If you haven't read it already, I found 'The Zombie Survival Guide' by Max Brooks petty enjoyable. It is entertaining, but I see it more as a 'skill book' - like 'Atomic Habits' seems to be (after a glance at Wikipedia). So it might not be the ideal choice right now.

If you actually want 'more' 'skill books' right after 'Atomic Habits', 'The Art of Deception' by Kevin Mitnick is on top of my personal list for those kinds of books.
On that note, 'The Art of War' by Sun Tzu, 'The Book of Five Rings' by Miyamoto Musashi and 'The Prince' by Niccolò Machiavelli are also 'skill books' and might be legally available for free somewhere online if you do not mind an older translation - but you likely already read those if you read a lot.
